About Alexis

How I got started

My passion for leading a healthy lifestyle started years ago when I took my first outdoor boot camp class. It inspired me to pursue a career in fitness, obtain my personal training certificate, and teach my own boot camp classes. From there, my desire evolved into focusing on nutrition as well, and I went on to earn my certification as a Holistic Health Coach through the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Throughout the years, I continued to nurture and developed my skills focusing on Personal Training and Health Coaching.

My Story

Wellness Coach

I believe that movement is key, no matter what it looks like. As someone with a passion for self-development, I love discovering new levels of myself. My favorite outdoor activity is kayaking at the lake with good people. And while I can be inspired at any moment by the ordinary, the big things that inspire me are my clients, husband, and quotes on Instagram.

I believe that only when the Mental, Physical, Emotional, and Spiritual components of our being is aligned and supported, that optimal health and wellness can truly be achieved.

Mental

Mental shifts come before the physical transformation.

So ask yourself, is your mindset supporting you or blocking you from reaching your health goals? This is the first thing we must be open to shifting before we embark on a lifestyle transformation. Our mindset creates our reality. When we want to change habits, we must first change the way we think, then we can change our daily habits. Thoughts create our actions.

Physical

We all want to feel good in our physical body.

A healthy diet and regular exercise will result in a change and improvement in the physical body. Including losing weight, building muscle, an increase in metabolism, easing digestive issues, bloating less, lowering blood pressure, improved heart rate, mental clarity, enhanced mood and so much more.

Spiritual

Self-awareness allows us to live on a higher, more evolved level.

When you tune into your thoughts and understand how they affect your habits and your mood, you become more aware of where you’re at, making it easier to work on these thoughts or behaviors that no longer serve us and create a space to develop new, healthier ones.

Emotional

We all want to be happy.

Learn how to feel happiness and joy even when you aren’t quite where you want to be. Does the narrative you are telling yourself on a daily basis or when things get tough support this? Transformation is a tough journey but it is possible to enjoy it.
