There are a few variations to this and I’ll share those at the end. For now, this is the basic recipe

  • ½ C of milk (plant-based is what I use)
  • 1 scoop of your protein powder
  • 1 frozen banana*
  • 1 tablespoon of peanut butter (any type of nut or seed butter will do)

* You can add more frozen fruit. I love to add cherries or blueberries.

The more frozen fruit you add, you most likely will need to add just a little bit more milk – just a tad. Don’t do this though until you try blending it and it isn’t blending because you need more milk.

Alternative recipe: This is omitting the banana and nut butter

  • ½ C of milk
  • 1 scoop of your protein powder
  • ½ small avocado
  • frozen berries or other fruit
  • sprinkle in some Stevia
  • Add ice
